No star in Indian cinema right now has a pipeline quite like Allu Arjun. The post-Pushpa 2 era has unlocked a lineup of collaborations that reads like a fantasy draft for Indian filmmakers, with four consecutive directorial giants locked in back-to-back: Atlee, Lokesh Kanagaraj, Basil Joseph, and Sandeep Reddy Vanga. From AA22 through AA25, Allu Arjun’s slate is arguably the most formidable consecutive run any Indian actor has assembled in the modern era.
AA22xA6: Allu Arjun Meets Atlee
AA22xA6 is the most immediately anticipated entry on the list, and it is already deep into production. Directed by Atlee and produced by Sun Pictures, the science fiction action epic stars Allu Arjun in multiple roles alongside Deepika Padukone and Mrunal Thakur. Atlee, who redefined the masala blockbuster template with Jawan, has described the film as “addictive to watch” and is working on a parallel-world narrative rooted in Indian mythology and high-octane spectacle.

The title and first teaser of AA22xA6 drop on April 8, 2026 to coincide with Allu Arjun’s 44th birthday, making it one of the most awaited reveals of the year. The film is budgeted at an estimated Rs. 600–800 crore, targets a December 2026 release, and is already being discussed as a potential two-part theatrical event.
AA23: Allu Arjun and Lokesh Kanagaraj Unite
The second film on the list is the one Lokesh Kanagaraj fans have been waiting for since Leo. AA23, officially titled AALoki, brings together Allu Arjun and director Lokesh Kanagaraj in what is being positioned as a massive pan-India actioner. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers and BV Works, the film has Anirudh Ravichander composing the music, marking the continuation of his wildly successful partnership with Lokesh.
Shraddha Kapoor is reported to be in talks for the female lead. The film is scheduled to begin shooting in 2026 and is targeting a December 2026 theatrical release, which would set up a potential head-on clash or close follow-up to AA22 in the same festive window.
AA24: The Basil Joseph Surprise
Perhaps the most unexpected name on the list is Basil Joseph, the Malayalam filmmaker behind Minnal Murali, one of the most acclaimed Indian superhero films of recent years. Allu Arjun is confirmed to collaborate with Basil Joseph for AA24, with the film expected to be produced by Geetha Arts. Basil Joseph narrated a script to Allu Arjun and reportedly received an enthusiastic response, and the project is slated to go into production once AA22 wraps.
The pairing signals Allu Arjun’s willingness to step outside the predictable and partner with a filmmaker whose sensibility is rooted in heart, humour, and inventive storytelling rather than pure mass-action spectacle, adding genuine variety to what would otherwise be an all-action slate.

AA25: Sandeep Reddy Vanga Completes the Dream Lineup
The fourth collaboration is the one that has existed in the industry’s imagination the longest. Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Allu Arjun were first confirmed as a pair back in 2023, with T-Series and Vanga’s Bhadrakali Pictures attached as producers. While the project has been quiet since its initial announcement, it remains on the table, pending the completion of Vanga’s Animal sequel, Animal Park.
Vanga has been vocal about refusing to make “routine films” with big stars, and a collaboration with Allu Arjun under his vision promises something that is by definition not routine. The combination of the most dangerous filmmaker in Hindi cinema with Telugu cinema’s biggest global icon is a proposition that needs no further selling.
What Does This Lineup Mean for Indian Cinema?
Taken together, the AA22-AA25 run represents a defining chapter in Allu Arjun’s career and a rare alignment of Indian cinema’s most exciting directorial voices around a single actor. Each filmmaker brings a completely different world view, and Allu Arjun has the range and the commercial clout to be the centrepiece of each one. If even three of the four land as expected, the next four to five years of Indian cinema will be shaped in large part by this lineup.
