What Is Hey Balwanth About?
Hey Balwanth follows Krishna Balwanth (Suhas), a young man who has spent years dreaming of one day taking over his father Rao Balwanth’s business empire — without ever actually knowing what the business is. When Krishna finally uncovers the truth, the revelation leaves him shocked and deeply conflicted, and he resolves to bring it all to an end.
What follows is a chain of complications that he did not anticipate. Two politicians get pulled into the situation, and so does Mithra (Shivani Nagaram), Krishna’s love interest, who manages an NGO where he joins as a business consultant. The film blends broad comedy in its first half with a more emotional second half, using the father-son business mystery as both a comedic and dramatic engine. The film was originally titled Hey Bhagawan but was renamed Hey Balwanth following censor board objections.

Who Stars in Hey Balwanth?
Suhas leads the film as Krishna Balwanth, playing a character navigating shock, moral conflict, and unexpected romance with the easy charm he has become known for in Telugu cinema. Shivani Nagaram plays Mithra, his love interest and the idealistic NGO head whose world gets upended by Krishna’s family situation. Naresh plays Rao Balwanth, Krishna’s father at the centre of the film’s central mystery.
