Vishal and director Sundar C have reunited for their fourth film together, and this one promises to be their most entertaining collaboration yet. But when intruders break into his home and threaten his family, he reveals a shocking and lethal alter ego, transforming into a fearsome warrior right under his wife’s nose. His wife, played by Tamannaah Bhatia, remains completely oblivious, believing he has simply gone to make tea. The premise blends high-energy action with broad comedy, a signature mix that Sundar C has mastered over the years.
Who Stars in Purushan?
Vishal leads the film as the titular character, continuing a collaboration with Sundar C that stretches back to Madha Gaja Raja, followed by Ambala and most recently Action. Tamannaah Bhatia plays his wife, marking yet another big-screen pairing for the two popular stars. Fan favourites Yogi Babu and VTV Ganesh round out the core cast in what are expected to be pivotal comic roles.
Bollywood veteran Boman Irani is also part of the ensemble. Vishal shared a photo with him from the set on March 3, generating significant buzz online about the nature of his role. Behind the camera, HipHop Tamizha Adhi composes the music, Gopi Amarnath handles cinematography, and Roger takes charge of editing. The film is produced by ACS Arun Kumar and Dhiya ACS.
