The decision to move Toxic from its Ugadi-birthday release to June was driven by the volatile situation in the Gulf region. With cinema operations across the Middle East facing disruptions due to the ongoing geopolitical conflict, the makers determined that releasing a film of this scale — budgeted at a reported ₹600 to 700 crore, making it among the most expensive Indian productions ever mounted — without access to that market would be a significant commercial risk.

Toxic was originally expected to share the Eid 2026 holiday window with Ranveer Singh‘s Dhurandhar 2, but the June 4 date moves it away from that direct conflict entirely.
